Recent Catches
 

After planning a wedding this summer and getting married I have not had much time to fish. Recently I headed up to one of my favorite spots and spent the night. Caught two 3 pound bass on a topwater frog and a popper as well as some other small bass. My stepdaughter has took a liking to fishing and she caught five perch on worms. It was definitely some good action. Can't wait to get back out there.

Very nice bass and perch! Great to see your stepdaughter joining you. Always great to get kids interested in fishing at an early age.

That's awesome! From the expression on your step daughters face she definitely has some determination! Think that's just the first of many fishing trips you and your new family are going to enjoy. As JD said, start them early as respecting and appreciating the great outdoors might be the most valuable lesson they ever learn throughout their lifetime! No better way in my opinion for a family to spend a nice summer's day. Memories for life! Great job all around! Nice size perch too!
