mad gaffer bottom fishing trip Saturday 9/10
 

We had a bottom fishing charter today with 10 people, porgy fishing was as good as it gets, I believe we were someplace around a total boat limit, the fish were all nice size , With about one third of them, being jumbo hubcap size porgies. We have an open boat all through next week as well as the weekend , The bottom was a little riled today offshore, or we would've went looking for some fluke as well, as we were done fishing at around 11 o'clock. Call for information and reservations ( these porgies especially this size are some of the best eating fish in the world , and we have an extremely liberal bag limit . this is a great opportunity to fill your freezer and also have a great time catching them , as they are one of the hardest fighting fish in the ocean , We had a few fish that were up over 3 pounds those are big porkies, and a mix of fish that we kept mostly a pound and a quarter stretching to 2 1/2 pounds, These fish taste every bit as good as a Seabass and are just as big as any of the sea bass , we have been catching, they are sort of like a snapper in flavor ) do yourself a favor and grab a light spinning rod come down and have a blast , and take home a big bag of fillets
