Tuna jigs
 
Just wondering what the popular opinion is on jigs for yellowfin and longfin have a few trips coming up

6oz & 8oz hammered in gold & silver.just make sure you check the hooks out as some of them come with some crap hooks.

Both replies spot on.
Love the origional Stingo.

and also had great luck with Hammered diamond jigs.

Also really like the Run Off lures sand eels in 4-12 OZ
when they are on sand eels they outfish everything else

on both the sand eels and the stingo's I remove the back hook and put a top assist hook on

Ron z lures when they on the surface. You can also jig with them too. I've had luck with benthos jigs and various flat sided jigs as well as metallic sardines in pink and blue.

Also try smooth diamond jigs with a strip of glow or prism tape on it. Adds some good flash. And always swap the crappy diamond jig hooks out!
