Old Guys Rule (again)
Left Shark River 8 am after the rain stopped. Had great action again in 60' of water, nailing 13 keeper fluke for 4 of us before returning to barn at 12:30. Congrats to Jakesdad who boxed 6 of the No Measurement Required variety (ORL:p). Highlight for me was double header Sea Bass keepers; got my limit on one drop  Biggest fluke was 5.5 lbs.
It's great that we are seeing steady action on the same numbers we've been fishing recently. LAst year we would find them one day, come back the next & it was barren !! This year we are hitting them consistently in same vicinity - hopefully this continues into & throughout September. I'll be flukin' 'til the season ends - can never get enuff  |
Re: Old Guys Rule (again)

Re: Old Guys Rule (again)
Nice steady action as the water temp. rose. Left Shark River temp. 64.7, ripin
current to the north all day drift was over 1 knot , but as the day wore on temp rose to 74.5. As Larry said all quality fish, either under 17 or over 20. Fun cast of characters to fish with. Larry let's you know on hook up, or Dr. Bill tries to sneak them in. Same area, nice spread of fish, caught from 1.5 miles off to 3 miles off |
Re: Old Guys Rule (again)
Nice report Larry I'm not sure if I'm old enough to fish with your crew you got about a century in experience there.
