RIGHTAWAY III Mixed Bag Today

5 Attachment(s)
We had a good day of non-stop porgy action. We threw back a ton of keepers looking for bigger fish and still went home with a cooler full. We had Triggers, Seabass, Fluke, and a large Smooth Puffer. The Puffer went back.....highly toxic organs. I would like to welcome a couple of new friends, Kevin from Union, NJ and John from Philly, PA
See ya out there, Capt Ed

Good action today. Can't wait until 14" plus are common in a few weeks.

Hey - I'm so glad you posted a pic of that puffer. I was just about to post what I caught by describing it and asking for any details about what kind of puffer it was.

We were out today and I caught one of those. In all my years, the only puffer fish I'm familiar with are small ones about the size and general color of a Sea Robin.

In all my hurry to get it back in the water I didn't take a pic.

Anyone know the full name for this puffer or is it just a puffer.

Thanks

It's just called a smooth puffer fish or rabbit fish.
