Ran out with my son and his 2 buds that are newbies to fishing . By newbies I mean never been on a boat and never had a rod in their hands. Quantity over quality was key. Figure I had to keep em interested.

Anchored up on a high spot in the bay and set the chum pot out. Slow start but bite got good at the tide turn. Porks from 8-12" and blues 12-15". Nothing to write home about but the kids were having a ball!

Wind came up at noon and was fielding phone calls from concerned moms about the coming t- storms so wrapped it up. Tried taking some pics but between baiting hooks, filling chum pots and digging 2 hooks out of my fingers it was tough to do!

Yeah man! Took a few and did a fish fry when we got back. Just beat the downpours!!!! Kids had a ball.

About time for an "adult" trip....love taking the boys out but its exhausting!!!!.....trying to build the future 1 kid at a time!!!!
