Pike and Pickerel (6/22/16)
 

Hit the Passaic again for a very short session last night. Had a hit right off the bat but the fish didn't hook up. Heard a splash a little upriver from where I was, which sounded more like a fish busting bait than the usual carp belly flop. Took a couple of casts in the area and hooked a decent fish. I was expecting a pike, but it ended up being a big pickerel.

Fished a little while longer and caught two pike to around the 30" before calling it a night.

The river is alive and well! Nice fish tuna man! Whoever said the Pike fishing was slow is fishing the wrong area! I've seen nothing but consistent action in my little 30 minute, 1 hour trips recently! Way to get on em dude!:D
