If you happen to catch a big bluefish with a silver and blue 5" Rebel Pop R Windcheater in or near the Manasquan River stuck in it's jaw, I'd love to have it back, haha! I have a few of these vintage, hard to find lures and this one had already brought in 5 big blues tonight before my line broke. Great bluefish bite tonight on topwater lures! Unfortunately the bluefish won that battle with some new lip jewelry! Some nice 5-15lbers caught, even by the kids wading out from shore! Super fun night and they are still around!

One time on a night blue fishing trip of of LBI i was on we were jig fishing and the guy next to me hooked into a nice one with a croc and his line snapped. No big deal it happens all the time. Like 20 mins later i hook into a fish and get it close to the boat for them to sink that gaff into him and whats hanging out its mouth? My jig and his croc! Was one of the craziest things i have seen! What are the odds of that!!

What am I saving lures for? A rainy day? I have other ones. No point in collecting them! LOL!! I know the risks of bluefishing very well. Just a humorous post with a quick report attached. :):):)
