Here is something I put together for charter boats with links to required equipment, documentation, National Maritime Center and others for federal and state permits and posted on the Stellwagen Bank Charter Boat Assoc Webpage. Substitute your state and maybe another NOAA office for the permitting section and boat registration if state registered. Some very good information at your fingertips to prevent you from over looking some of the requirements.
