Melbourne Florida-Fishing Report

Today it is going up to 84 degrees. The Pompano run in the surf has started. Tasty and fun to catch. I caught all the blues you could want on a crocodile along with some spanish mackeral and some whiting .Whiting are our kingfish and taste great. There is an occasional red drum and the black drum are biting as well as sheepshead.Beach access is free as well as parking. We are raking sand fleas for pompano bait but clam works well also.Still miss the stripers but not the winters in Jersey.:)
