1-28-16 tog report
 

Got down Belmar at five to get our preferred spot on the Ocean Explorer. Fishing was good all day for me and my brother and a bunch of other guys. Some struggled of course. It was a beautiful day on the water and fish were biting from the first to the last stop. Close to shore and out far. Deeper those disgusting Pout things were a pain but there were tog there, you just had to move your bait some when you felt the Pout. I ended up picking a limit & the pool fish in deeper water at the end of the day prob around 8 pounds. They are definitely still there. Soft baits were the key yesterday. No shell worked for me. We went through a half of whites by ourselves. Nothing on the shrimp. :(

Thanks, got lucky and hit the pool my last two trips. Water was clean out there to.
