1985 Johnson 140 HP V4 Outboard Motor - for Parts
 

For sale is a 1985 Johnson 140 HP V4 Motor. The lower unit is in good shape but the engine is seized. The motor was mounted on a 1971 Boston Whaler 21 Outrage that I purchased in early January, and was removed from the boat and stored immediately. The motor was inspected by a mechanic and has numerous usable parts. The cowling is faded but has no holes or dents. This would be an ideal purchase for someone with the same mid-1980s Johnson or Evinrude 120 or 140HP motor to use as a parts motor, or the right person who has the time to fix it and get the motor back in running condition. The motor has a 20 inch shaft and is model # J140TLCOS; serial # G7086668. Please PM me with questions. The cost is $275 plus shipping. The motor is located on Staten Island, NY. The stainless steel Michigan 13 3/4 x13 prop is not included in the sale but can be purchased separately.
