was back in rhode island saturday and.....
it was a beat down!!!!!capt had three spots for Saturdays trips and that is what we needed.left the house at 1am Saturday and was at the dock at 4:15.
was a little worried about the wind as we drank our coffee waiting for the crew to arrive.5:30am the crew shows and we load the boat.capt say no worries about the wind as we will be fishing only a 1/2 mile from the beach.we run for about 45 minuts and drop the anchor and it is fish on in seconds.we had boat limit, fat and happy at the dock at 1pm.whole small greenies were the ticket for the bigger fish.both my son and I each broke off a beast.my sons girlfriend, first time togger had a 9.2lber as her first tog.it was one stop shopping as the fish bit the entire time, even thru the slack.i even got to jig a few, with one about 8lbs,my biggest of the day.spoiled with great togging would be the only way to say it.if our a tog junky you need to get up there and get a real fix.pm me if ya need the boat info. |
