4 days of great togging!!!!!!
 

went up to rhode island the 7,8,9 &10th for alittle blackfishing with my son and a few others.we set out Saturday morning at 6am take a 35 minute ride and drop the anchor.it takes about 15 minutes to get our first fish then it was game on for the rest of the day.it was one stop shopping.it was great to fish with group as they released the 3 biggest fish that day to swim again.we limited the boat.sunday we head out again with the same crew but this day my son and I are going old school with mono only on our jig master 505's.we had a great day as we limited the boat again and I got to kick my sons butt in the mono-e-mono contest.monday we changed up the group a bit and headed out.to say I had a bad day would be a huge understatement.as the rest of the group put a real hurting on them I was looking like a shoe maker at a florist convention.they limited the boat with very little help from me.tuesday we change the group up again and head out.we anchor and within minutes we are pullind tog as fast as you could get it to the bottom.one of the group was jigging the tog and putting a real hurting on them.he gave me a jig and a little lesson and I got to jig my 1st tog ever.it was really a great way to catch them and I got one about 7lbs on the jig.the fishing and company were great.back at my desk now but still thinking of a great trip.

It was a pleasure to fish and meet you Eddie and the same goes for your son Chris. You did not give yourself enough credit for the show that you put on Sunday. You killed them. It was a good time with a great crew. I am already looking forward to next year.

Congratulations on a great trip. I have heard the black fishing up there is crazy like that. Way to show your son how to get it done. Special memories between a father and his son.

Eric the pleasure was all ours.the ride home felt like 10 minutes because of all the conversation of this year and things for next year.thanks guys but we had
a good bunch of great peeps that made the trips a real pleasure.

It was a great time with a great crew and would do it any time again. If both Joes want to come along, I have jigs for both of you to try.
