Kids fishing derby at Perth Amboy Sep. 12th, 2015 8:30am
 

Kid’s Fishing/Snapper Derby 2015 has been scheduled for Sept 12, 8:30am at Harborside Marina 260B Front Street Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.

Annual Kids Fishing Derby and Casting Contest is open to Kids 15 years old and younger regardless of residency. Activities will run until noon. lots of fun for kids and lots of prizes too.

Snapper fishing derby at Perth Amboy Marina is this Saturday from 9am till noon. Lots of fun for kids 15 and under.

May bring the kids down. They have never snapped fished and neither have I. I'm sure someone will be there to show us the ropes. Can all tackle needed be purchased at a nearby shop. I do have rods for them

Steve get some shad spoons and 1/4 ounce egg sinkers. Had lots of fun down in Delaware on light spinning gear a couple weeks ago. I wouldn't rely on the local shop, not much of a selection there.

These were hard to find, sad to say Walmart was the only place I could find them here in PA.
