the shearer family 8/25/15 bigeyes

capt's kevin gerrity and dave bender took doug shearer and his boys out for their overnight canyon trip. we stopped short and trolled and chunked five small yellowfins. we then ran offshore and took our spot in the bigeye armada. at sunset we hooked our first fish and the boys did pretty work of putting a 140lb bigeye in the boat. the second bite came about an hour later in the dark, this fish was much larger and all three boys took time on the rod. after about an hour plus we harpooned a 180 plus bigeye. on the chunk we released a sword and that was that. the fan turned on at day break and it blew 20-25 northwest, thank you for the second time this week noaa. the guys had a great time as did kevin and i, these kids know how to fish.

Nice trip, great job capt's. Dave and Jimmy,,,, saw Dave jr.& wife , the Martino Wedding Friday, good looking couple!!,.... I see the Grandaughter knows how to wash a boat too,,,, Sweet!!!!
