Anyone Own Lowrance Elite 9 Chirp?

If so can you tell me if you can add an external GPS antenna? I'm going back and forth with this and the HDS series and this seems like a great deal at $1099 with the salt transducer.

I think the only option is adding a Lowrance Point-1 onto a NMEA 2000 network. Looks to run around $200, plus the networking components.
