Watershed slugfest 7/12/15

Started off the morning a little later than planned but managed to get some herring up at fins and furs and headed out. After dealing withs some depthfinder malfunctions we started to fish. First line in as soon as the herring hit the water it got smacked by a 2lb smallie, and the rest is history. 14 smallies, one 22"-24" walleye and a monster perch later we were worn out and headed home. The schools of smallies were so thick we had 2 doubles and a triple, when the fish were coming in and the herring fell off within sight almost everytime it got picked up by another bass. Seems like the lakes are finally cooperating with me...
