BOUNTY HUNTER - Slow Sunday With The Vincent Tate Charter, 06/14
2 Attachment(s)
Capt. Paul had the Vincent Tate charter on board the Bounty Hunter on Sunday. We did not have a very good start to today's trip. With the customers on board a turn of the Starboard key produced total silence. It was quickly diagnosed by Capt. Paul as a bad starter. It took a while to get thing running but we already had a late start. Paul ran up to the north to join the rest of the fleet in what was a big starring contest. We had missed very little. There was no Life, no Bait, no Blues and no Stripers to be found. We trolled Spoons and never got a touch. Thank God the charter had an adequate supply of beer, beautiful weather and a calm ocean. On a late day move to the south we got lucky. We trolled our first and only Bass of the day. We stayed out a couple hours longer but it did not help. Off Monday for Maintenance. Will be back at it on Tuesday.:(:(:(
