Circles any good for seabass?

Hi folks. I've only used J's for seabass upto this point. Just ordered some rigs from Reel Seat tied for black belly rose fish. I figured they'd do double duty for sea bass too. They are tied w/ sturdy line and hardware for deep dropping, 3ways & have small squid skirts. They have 3 small but sturdy circle hooks on short droppers. What do you think, any good for seabass too? Ever use circles for sea bass?
I appreciate your input.
JD

I've tried them before and they work okay. My problem was its my natural instinct to swing hard when I feel that rap rap rap which is a no no for circle hooks. Those rigs sound like too much terminal tackle for wreck fishing for seabass. My rigs consist of 50lb mono, 2 or 3 5/0 Gami hooks (smaller 3/0 if I know trigger fish or porgies are around) on a couple of dropper loops with the only terminal tackle being a small swivel at the top to connect to my main line.
