walleye at night

is it better to have a lure with rattles in it? thanks

Depends on water clarity. I've been having some success on soft plastics w/o rattles, as well as various plugs from 2.5-5".

Another vote for the Knuckleheads, the slower you fish them the better.

Knuckle heads are great. I have 2 of each color ever made. The Walleye will see and destroy all stick bait type lures wether they have rattles or not. Try the bright colors in the muddy water. They see better at night!
