Blues in the bay

Went about 2 miles off keyport today fromm 11am to 3pm anchored up in 12 ft and clammed up. Nothing doing so I started plugging off the bow with a blue bommer... 10 cast in hooked up with a nice one pulling drag going nuts. Get em close and it's a big blue. Got em back to the dock 14lbs. Also had a 8lb blue on the clams but no strippers today

Always heard cash works better to catch strippers! :D
Fished at the Keansburg pier today, saw a few blues caught in the 5-8lb range on bunker. That was all. I was clamming all day hoping for a striper, but no luck.
