Russian Roulette
 

Fished on the Roulette for the 1 st time. The fishing was tough with only 7 keepers and about as many shorts between 5 guys. Boat, Captain and mate were 1 st class. It`s a shame the Cod didn`t cooperate, but that`s fishing.

I am on the trip for Monday...and can't wait to just get out on the water again. Regardless of what is caught or kept...to me...it will just be great to get out on the water. Going to smell the salt on Monday, and won't be able to sleep all weekend!!!

That all sounds good and I am of a similar mindset. Unfortunately that mindset fades fast when it`s tough fishing and your paying $150.00. lol Again, I want to make it clear it was through no fault of the Captain. It was just a tough day.

yes it was a tough one we covered lots of ground and fish wouldn't cooperate even when you can see them on the scope. Didn't expect that especially when on tuesday our high hook had 14 keepers and 30 shorts alone

If we get out on Sunday I can catch 30 shorts but it would probably take a week for me to get 14 keepers.:)

That's why they call it Fishin not catchin. The Rusdian Roulette has been doing very well. Great fisherman but eberyone has an off day. As they say the best days to fish are yesterday and tomorrow .

Too bad Rumster. Sounds like he tried like he always does. Tautog, I was on the trip as well. Too bad we didn't go. You could have cleared the shorts out of the way so I could get to the keepers.

I only care about high hook, not how big they are...:eek:
