Fished the open boat today with 19 other guys, started north of the inlet and shallow with very little action made a wiggle to about 50 foot and had the best action i have seen all year catching my limit of 6 along with 15 shorts in 2 hours time. capt made a move for deeper water and we were rewarded with bigger fish but not the same action. Pool fish went 11 lbs, saw one ling come up, and few congers. not every caught a keeper i think only 2 guys got the skunk most had 2-3 keeps for the table. I released 2 more keeps in the deep with gave me 8 for the day.
No shocker here but a great boat, great crew and great time today on the MIMI as always

Mickrazz as always it was fun fishing with you! Ball busting all day is always the highlight of every trip
