Eyes on First Ave - 2015 Costa Product Update
 

Hi everyone! Below are pics of three new Costa styles for 2015 that I received in today. Cortez, Manta and Pawleys. These are in addition to the four new styles that I got in a few weeks ago. (Mag Bay, Luke, Palapa and Loreto.) Between now and December 31st, anyone who purchases a Costa sunglass will also receive a free Costa hat, retainer and Tshirt. If you do not live close by, puchases can be made over the phone and I can mail them to you with free shipping. Hello-
Whats involved in getting a prescription pair??
I have my script from my recent eye exam and wanted to look into a pair of costas.

Mario, I will respond here just in case anyone else has the same question. If you already have a prescription, you can bring it to me or any authorized prescription dealer (preferably me:D). We also do eye exams here, can take a reading off of your current glasses or call your Doctor to get your script. First we will take a look to make sure that your prescription falls within Costa's prescription ranges. You can call me at the store beforehand and read me the script over the phone to be sure. Then we would take a look at all of the different Costa frames to see what you like, what fits you and what would work well with your prescription. After we pick out a frame we would then go over all of the different lens options - color, mirror coatings etc... The order gets placed directly with the Costa lab and can take 7 to 10 days to come in. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Can a set of prescription lenses be ordered and simply be popped in to a previous non RX pair?

Yes, as long as it it not a discontinued style. Which ones do you have? The name is on the side. Also, we would need to send your Costa's to the Costa lab to have the prescription put in. They will not send lenses only, it needs to be assembled at the their lab in Florida.

My father purchased his prescription Costas from Jamie and wish he had done it years ago. Great glasses and a top notch operation!!!

Got a pair of costa's here after Sandy. Great service and more styles to choose from than I've seen elsewhere. I had a warrenty issue this summer and they took care of everything at the shop. I just had to bring them in and they shipped them back. Jamie worked with Costa an option to get a new pair at a super low cost so I went for it.
