North Branch of the Raritan river 9/21/14:

Went from Far Hills to the Confluence twice, I think I got just about everything. I do need to go back for a few big ticket items, 1 tractor tire, 2 truck tires and a car motor. A few miscellaneous items along the way need to removed also but for the most part it looks pretty good now :)

Andy,
Thank you for all your hard work in cleaning up the NB. I thought that my fishing club was doing good when we filled a pick-up truck load of water bottles, beer cans, bait containers, etc from around Mercer County Lake. But you sure do pick up the big stuff. How do you manage to get the heavy stuff out of the water...do you have a small backhoe or something? Denny |

Big stuff we ask for help. The other stuff we just load into boats and canoes and go to an easy take out point on the river and carry it out. Time consuming but rewarding. Starting to think my canoe is almost unsinkable :)
