Back Bay Early Season Tog
Has anyone been having any luck blackfishing in the bay yet ? Was thinking about switching things up from fluking and trying to get dialed in on the blackfish in the RB/SH area. Would it even be worth trying ? Not sure where to start in the bay i launch out of AHMM. Lighthouses/ Rockpiles I want to at least have a decent shot.

Denlon, thanks for the response. I have always wondered about the rock wall and if it held fish, it makes sense that it would.

About 18 years ago there was one heck of a fall winter flounder run along the wall

Not in the back bay but fished the PP canal yesterday and caught a ton of toy togs with one keeper mixed in.. lots of fun with green crabs.

It should start up pretty soon once the water temps drop.... Any rock pile in the bay should start holding them....
