8/21 Private Charter Eastmans At Night
 

I think I posted this in wrong forum originally so I am posting this here now

SORRY

It was a VERY interesting Evening as this was the FIRST time I ever did a Night Charter With Eastmans. It is no secret with the Gulf Of Maine closure of Cod and Haddock in just 2 weeks it is time to think outside the box and try new things. That is also the reason I am doing so many Whiting trips. Since most of you would be bored stiff if I post pictures of guys you dont know just shooting the breeze and other unrelated material I will only post the actual fish related pictures.

It was a great evening

The guys that wanted Ling and fished hard averaged about 40 ling per angler. Some guys had more and some had less

The guys that wanted Mackeral could have caught ALL THEY WANTED

The guys that wanted Squid caught anywhere from 10 to 40 Squid per angler

Most guys did a little of Everything

Speaking for myself I ling fished from beginning to the end and wound up with 68 Ling and 2 Whiting. we were not at all close to the area that is currently abundant with Whiting

We have lots of names for Ling

Mud Hake is VERY Insulting as that is what MOST New Englanders Call Them
