Was down at the Pt Pl side of the inlet at 3pm & saw many short fluke caught .The best fishing seemed to be from the monument east. Tide was incoming. Good fishing.

small metal, kastmaster, hopkins or hippy.the popper works well also.the fluke
was a drop shot rig with the white or green 4' gulp.

Live killies were doing well too. Try to get near the monument.

Was on the Pt. Pleasant side for @ 2 hours this morning. Didn't fish, just observed and talked to a few people. Saw @ 30 fluke caught in that time-just 1 keeper & a dozen or so snappers. No one spot produced better than the other, however killies seemed to be the bait of choice.

A modified fluke rig with a sinker just heavy enough to get you out there but light enough for the tide to move it is the ticket. Squid/killie will always work keep that bait movin!. P.s. a lot of snags though so bring extra rigs. Start at slack fish till it gets going to fast. Good Luck
