3 Assunpink lakes
 

So I won't have my boat tomorrow but will be fishing down south. Was wondering if anyone had any luck from any of the 3 assunpink lakes from shore or maybe manasquan. Any advice is appreciated as always.

I don't know alot about the ass lakes but i ALWAYS did well at the squan from shore and boat.....If you do the squan from shore stick to the rip rap or better yet rent a boat there and explore...Good luck and let us know how you did....

The main pond has limited shore access. One of the other ponds I have fished was the same, but that was years ago. If ya got a boat, not a bad option, but if your shore fishing may want to try another spot. My 2 cents as I fish Assunpink main pond often

Ya I have a boat but wont be able to use it tomorrow. Do either of ya have any recommendations for a lake or pond to shore fish if assunpink and manasquan arent ideal from shore. Ive tried manasquan from the rocks on georgia tavern before with only luck once. Bigfishy what do you mean by the rip rap? Thanks guys!

Ah ya riprap is what I referred to as the rocks. Yes ive tried there many times. Guess ill try there again in the morning. You usually do the rip rap at chestnut point or by the boat ramp path? Also any tips on what to fish there? I usually keep it simple with a white and chart spinner and watermelon senkos.

There is plenty of shore access at the Assupink lake.

Manasquan is very low.. couldnt really even fish the right side of the riprap on ga tav.. threw a little in the other side with no luck..pushes my streak to 8 straight fishless trips

Assunpink has some pretty cool shore line access points. Some you can even back you truck up to, you just have to explore a lil bit.
