Summer Time Blue Fishing on the Cock Robin
 

Team Super Cool (my daughter (13) and myself) decided enough was enough and we ventured out for the peewee marathon. Early action was great as we both had bonito to the boat that came unbuttoned?:( A few blues also added to the mix. A few moves here and there and then in the early afternoon we found the pot of gold. The whole boat was hooked up, except for the poor kid that was sick.:eek: We managed ~ 50 between the two of us, giving to those that wanted and releasing all the rest. A few sea bass, mackerel, bonito, and of course the occasional skate/sea robin were observed.

Had a great day on the water with my daughter building memories and the CR crew, as always, were first rate.

That's what its all about. I considered my dad one of my best friends growing up because he did stuff like this. We would go for blues at night & they were some of my best memories.

Now that I'm older I got the chance to repay him by taking him to Key West & Alaska fishing with me. Some of the best trips of my life!
