Fluke in the surf report

Got the chance to try bucktailing in the surf today for fluke.. first time and lots of fun. Half ounce spro with gulp worked best- six shorts and one keeper at 19. And of all the gulp types I used the long belly strip produced best.. rarely use it and had it just collecting dust so beginner's luck all around.

Fish it up

Usually 1/2 spro's have small hooks. Did you use a stinger hook for long strip. 7" gulp strip-white?
