JERSEY HOOKER Report
My Hurricane Sandy Donation trip came to life today.
With the off bass bite we decided to give it a late morning shot for sea bass and then hope to find the bass mid to late afternoon. Met at the dock 10 am. Super nice big 40 + foot boat. Met Rich and Mate Pete. Off we went flying to the grounds nice and fast. Began filling the box with sea bass and the occasional ling slow but steady. Capt made many moves to put us on fish. As the day went on the straight south wind began to crank harder and harder. After swinging around the piles we made out way towards home in bass looking mode. Capt Rich puts on some working birds but only blues were under them. After getting our buts kicked from the wind we decided to head in and call it a day. Everyone came home with a nice bag of goodies for the frying pan. Thanks again to Capt Rich and Mate Pete. TOP NOTCH guys and a nice boat. We will be back to do it again!!! |

Re: JERSEY HOOKER Report
I had not one complaint. Pete was awesome on the deck and the capt was great on the wheel.

Re: JERSEY HOOKER Report
Saw Pete up front working the anchor while you were in the trough. I felt for him.
