Ocean Explorer Wednesday
 

4-9-14 Really nice today,,flat calm,,no wind to speak of until we got a few miles from the beach..It was so calm that the anchors would not stay tight most of the day,,,few spots we hit today were kinda dead,,,but a few other spots had good life on em,,with perch anyway,,,mixed in we had three or four short blackfish,,,half a dozen ling and maybe 6-7 Codfish but all were short I believe....So in the end not good catching with keepers but really nice to be fishing today,,,a total pleasure out there on the water,,,(unless you were me trying to keep the anchors tight)as for tomorrow it looks real nice again with light winds in the morning....We have a few of the regular guys coming down so we are gonna head back out and try the same area we had the good life today...Other good news at one point the water on the surface shot up to 45 degrees!!!!!wooooohooooo!!!Its a start!!!See ya for coffee!!

Thanks for the real report Capt. I'm going to order some oily Chinese food and have some messed up MSG dreams about fishing now ...I'm ready to bottom paint and get back out In my lil spot ... Jonesing to really start🙏hope the water out deep mixes in soon !!!!
