Saugers in Philly??????

I just read a report from a reliable source that there are saugers being caught mixed in with the walleyes in the Schuylkill River around philly. What do you guys think? Is it possible? It would be a nice species to add to the list.

I don't doubt it but that's a pretty beat up section of the river.not to mention all the rowing traffic along Kelly Drive.

Dude! I'll have it this year. I've narrowed it down to spots. One is deep in the pines (don't have 4 wheel drive) and one near hopatcong. They are hard little buggers to find. It doesn't even have to be a trophy. But I promise next time you see me out on that rock, I'll have a nice redfin picture for ya!:D

More than likely stocked by the state. That river is pretty good habitat from what I understand of their needs. The pa state site does recognize them with a season and limits.
