A reel crappie weekend!!!!!!!
 

fished lh both saturday and sunday .saturday we get on the lake at 6:30 and start jigging crappie,perch,bluegills and even shinners{crazy right}.it was drop
and reel fishing till about 10:30 than it started to slow.we fished till 1pm and had
64 crappies,15 yellow perch,11 bluegills and 4 shinners.all released to get bigger.
sunday was a hole new ball game.we went back at 6:30,had fish right away.thought it was goona be another jig fest....wrong!!!!!.fished until 1pm w/
6 crappies,5 perch and 7 bluegills.still great to be out on the ice.14 inch of good
ice were we fished.i think thats it for me as some of my open water spots are
clearing up.what a great and lond season this year.;)

Great catching man. Gotta love those big LH Crappie. No fish fry? It's all good! Longest ice season I can remember, and a great one at that. Open water fishing is going to be hot this year.

Sounds like an awesome time! I am going to miss the ice - there is just something about banging panfish on a jigging rod and watching flags pop up.

i'm with you about missing it.we were only in 5-7ft of water.the crappies were
2ft under the ice,we were watching them take the jigs.with this long a season i got to fish all the spots on the lake i wanted to.:D
