Just washed my skins and your never gonna guess what was stuck to them when I pulled them out of the wash..............a rabbits foot, I don't even own a rabbits foot, let alone know how it got in the washing machine!!!!:eek:

Has to be one of the kids', but still, could this be the end of my shit streak? I guess I'll find out Saturday on the mimi!

That was not a rabbit's foot. That was a very old Hermit crab, all moldy & fuzzy! :D

Word of advise to you my friend.
Using Whites, Greens, Hermits, Shrimp, Clam. The bite is different on each bait many times. Fishing different rods throughout the day and baits you never get dialed in on when to swing. Use the KISS principle (Keep it Simple) to change your Luck.
Fish the same rod and whatever is the bait of choice for the day and stick with it without changing up and see if your results change. Hopefully you will get enough bites to put advise to use.

Don't give him any help Alex. This has been the best blackfish season in years. I am catching alot of fish but it is almost as much fun watching the Shrimpman. We have all had days like he has been having but never a whole year. It is just too much fun calling him after his fishing trips. I don't want it to end quite yet because I know he will go on a tear in the other direction soon enough.

I think I heard Capt. Kenny tell Chris the mate to sneak it into your wash when you weren't looking. He's as desperate as you are to break that ugly streak (especially since it's his boat you got the shit streak smeared all over). LOL:D

I thought washing your slicks was bad luck. The fish can smell the detergent. Just hit them with deck hose fold and put in tote .If it's raining you get a bonus wash . here's a picture of the last time I washed my slickers.
