Shorty day 12/8 where are the big fish!??
 

Left the dock at 7:15 and went out to deep water. Anchored on what looked like to be bumpy bottom but turned out to be soft. We found some structure on the spot and starting to pull up shorts. I had two keepers mixed in with those. (I've caught trout yesterday bigger than those) we took a move on our spot and stayed there the rest of the day. We caught about 60 shorts and four more keepers mixed in. We had to come in early due to my hockey game. The total of the day was captain Vic=4 Maui Jim= ... and I had 3.

Even know you didnt get a lot of keepers sounds like a good day fishing with lots of action

Sounds like your spot was picked clean by other boats. Time to find new bottom!!! :D
