November 22, 2013 fluke pic

I caught, tagged and released a 16" fluke in Manasquan Inlet yesterday evening with an AVA A17. The ocean was black from dredging. That's 7,602 fish that I tagged in NJ since 1985. 236 were recapturehttp://s865.photobucket.com/user/NJ2...tml?sort=3&o=0d in 11 different states.

Kudos to you on the tag. The black water is from dredging west of Dog Beach and I believe the spoil material is being put on Gull Island, there are bull dozers and a crane working up there. I hope they raise that island another 10 feet, it protects my marina from north and northeast wind. :)
