BOUNTY HUNTER - Fluke Limit With Don Beshada, 9/11
1 Attachment(s)
Paul had Don Beshada on board the Bounty Hunter for a 1 man Fluke charter. This gave Capt. Paul and Mate Tony a rare opportunity to wet a line. Paul set up on rough bottom offshore in the AM and we had a great drift and a good bite. When the late morning wind came on we moved inshore and the good Fluke bite continued. At the end of the day the final tally was a limit catch of 15 Fluke on ice and over 60 shorts released. It was great fishing with a good customer. Check the Open Boat Forum for the next scheduled Open Boat Fluke sailings. :) :) :)

The guy on the left looks familiar. Very nice catch of quality fish. I'm sure the guy not in the picture, did the best.

Great catch Capt. Paul and Tony. Who had the high hook?

That guy on the left was REQUIRED reading for me back in the late 80s and early 90s...wow I am aging myself here!! :) Time flys...
Codfishing/pollock to tuna...one of the BEST! Not easy to land three Bigeyes over 300 lbs all at the same time! I will try to get out with you for Seabass and/or Stripers (open). Joe T. |

Thanks to all you guys for your nice comments and Joe thanks for reminding me about the days when Canyon fishing was really Canyon fishing. Leave at 11AM. Troll a dozen Longfin in the afternoon. Anchor up for the night bite and Chunk a 6 man limit of 75lb to 100lb. Yellowfin by midnight then start for home in the dark. Those were great times. :D
