Party Boat Angler Jumbo Fluke
 

It was a Marathon trip today and I must admit that I was not too happy with the wind when I arrived at the dock this morning. We had some people go home after waiting all night but they should have hung out a little longer.

The wind died before we sailed and conditions were great for most of the day. The high light of the day was Wendy Gorsky catching an eleven pound fluke. Family members of the crew are not allowed in pools so our big pool stays the same. This is the third time the leader has been beat by fish not in the pool..

Plenty of big fluke today. Jose Reyes Nutly caught 7 keepers on jigs with his limit being 5 over 5 pounds. Now thats fluking. Rick who fished opposite Jose also limited.

Rich was very happy on our last drift when he landed a 6 pounder to beat Jose who was leading the pool. But it was Chip Pfiffer from Stewartsville who took the pool with a whistle fish 5 minutes latter.

what is a whistle? an if its not a fluke why den it was in the pool, CAPT.

Whistle fish is when the capt blows the horn at the end of the trip, the guy caught the fish a couple minutes before the horn or right at the horn and won the pool... It's an expression,and it doesn't have to be a fluke it's what ever the boat is targeting,and usually is said when a pool is won or a big fish was caught;)

OMG - Wendy that is a fishy of a life-time and it is bigger than anything I ever caught . I never caught a doormat yet . Your son must have netted that fish - I hope ?

You are in the double - digit club now - congratulations that is one sweet fish :eek:

Hopefully see you guys sooner than later - couldnt make it out of the house today again . 2 out of the 3 W's today again -:D
