capt's kevin gerrity and dave bender took joe cebulski of the windy city with jim tighe of chatham,nj and glen brehart of toronto offshore for an overnighter. we landed on top of some whales and put together a nice catch of six longfins. we drilled the area till we felt like it was over and searched for some more bites. we had a four banger of gaffer mahi, and it got quiet till about dusk when we had several bigeye bites but could not seal the deal. finally about 730pm we landed a nice 140lb bigeye. the night bite was one again non existent and we trolled again wednesday morning, we pulled the hook on another bigeye and landed two more longfins. all in all it was a great trip with plenty of meat for the guys. they are already talking about next year.
