Long Shot Fluke

Fished an open boat trip on Saturday. I brought along old friends Tony and Glen and met three new ones in Annie, Bob and Mark. Set out and tried a local spot with not much happening so Captain Chris set sail for the long run to the next spot over towards NY. The drifting conditions were just terrible with flat flat seas. The fish were there but you had to throw a bucktail or bait and make it move. We all had a great time boxing up 19 keepers to 25 inches, some real quality fish.

I forgot to mention that while reeling in a short the captain had about a 30 pound striper come right up to the boat chasing the fluke all the way in.
