Kayak Fluke Fishing

Fished the bay today on my kayak and met 2 gentlemen at the launch site unloading their yaks. Sorry I'm horrible with names, Tom and Matt? Could not ask for a nicer day on the water!!! The drift was slow but we caught a bunch of shorts and many nice sized croakers. I managed to catch a keeper and Matt had 2 in his box. It's days like today that it doesn't matter whether you kill em or not. If you guys are on here....It was a pleasure fishing with you.

Great to read a salty kayak report.. I have not been able to get out in the bay recently but planning on next week.. those croakers were a great fight but still looking for a keeper flattie for this year

PM me if you are looking for some company. I will be on vacation next week in Virginia beach but back on Sunday. Might go out weather permitting.
