I had the Falcone group out yesterday for a mid-range trip. We left at 5 am with a little bit of a bumpy ride out in the morning, but as the day progressed the seas laid down. The bluefin tuna showed us no love, but we did pick up a couple of nice gaffing size mahi. Coming home we did 22 knots all the way. It was a great day with some really nice people and we sent them home with some very tasty fillets.

Will probably run the same trip next Sunday August 18th as open boat.

To get decent sized ones 30 - 50, the small peanuts sometimes come inshore.
