August 24- September 3: Berkeley Striper Club Fluke Tournament; Boat categories for largest fluke and total weight of 3 fluke and a surf/shore category for largest fluke. Cash prizes for 1st to 3rd place for each category with a 2/3 payout. Weigh-in stations from Long Branch to Brigantine. $30. per person for each boat category or enter both for $50., surf/shore category $20. per person. August 24: 19th Annual Jersey Coast Anglers Association Fluke Tournament; 10 ports from Sandy Hook to Cape May, $1200. cash first place prize for each port. Quality merchandise prizes for 2nd - 10th place for each port from Penn Reels, Shakespeare, Berkley Gulp Bait, Spiderwire, Costa, Minn Kota, West Marine, Nor’East Saltwater, Interlux Paint and Yukon/Igloo Coolers. The Grand Prize will be $5000.-$10,000. cash depending on the number of entrants over 500. All entrants who attend the awards ceremony at the Golden Nugget Casino in Atlantic City on 9/6 will be eligible to win even if they do not catch a fish. Where is the sandy hook weigh in? Called and sent email but no response and didn't see list on website...

The Sandy Hook weigh-in station is Gateway Marina located at 34 Bay Av, Highlands. It is on the Shrewsbury River just north of the Highlands Bridge.

Just a reminder, the last day for the early entry fee for the JCAA tournnament is 8/17. You may register on line or have your mail in entry postmarked by that date.
