I know I'm about one to two months early for the big salmon rush up there, but i have the chance to spend a long weekend up there in 2 weeks.

Have any of you fished that area for something other than salmon? I'm trying to get an idea on what gear to bring.

You might wanna head down to Oneida lake if you have the time, or try smallies in the salmon river. Keep us posted.

Fish the St. Lawrence river for SMB, LMB and some killer pike.
Try Alexandria Bay area, not too far from Watertown.
