Jamaica II - Fluke Update

After a really shi**y weekend and a less than stellar Monday, fishing has turned around the past two days, especially today and especially this afternoon. Calm ocean and persistent southerly winds did not keep them from biting today. Also had heavy fog today just for a little extra fun.
Erik Stengler Phila, Pa won the pm boat pool with a 9 lb 2 oz Fluke. He was not in the monthly
Chimney Pete LaCour Manasquan, NJ had a limit plus this afternoon up to 5 lbs.
Pete Talevi Trenton, NJ - Young Park Ft Lee, NJ(with a 6 1/2 pounder) - Bob Plasket Medford, NJ and Carl Weems Bristol, Pa all had limits on Fluke this afternoon, mostly nice fish 3-5 pounders. Some throwbacks in the mix but not many.
Hopefully this is the start of some better summer fishing-been way too sporadic up to this point

Capt Ryan:)

Last couple of pics were from toda, Friday, with a nice spread of fish around the boat this morning. Some throwbacks but more nice keepers and a few limits.
The Bullock Family was out with us today and went home with a cooler full of Fluke and 3 nice Whiting.
Bottom temp in the vicinity was 49 degrees. Oh man if they are biting like this wait till it hits 60 degrees
