Belmar Wednesday AM

Finally got out after 4 weeks, wind at the dock SW, at Ocean Ave South, 2miles off SE. Got set up in 45 feet off Asbury, no hits, moved deeper off Deal 55 - 60 feet. Each drift we managed a couple of fish. Enough to keep us there. Around 9AM the fog rolled in, anywhere from 1/4mile to about a mile visibility. Water temp on the beach around 61.5, off on the lumps 63.5.

Fished til 11,took our time coming home, and had 6 quality keepers between 2 of us, probably around 30 throwbacks. We called it a day, cleaned the fish and boat and then the skies opened AGAIN!.

As a side note, heavy rain on 195 on the way home, westbound, a car about 100 feet down into some trees, 2 miles further west, on the eastbound side a van into the back of a school bus. When it is raining that hard slow down!!!
