2003 Johnson 140 4 stroke
 

Just looking for some honest opinions on this motor. I found a 2003 aquasport 201 cc that I really like and it has this motor on it. Before I jump on this I want some feedback on the power source. Thanks in advance for the feed back.

Looks like you got some solid advice on the "other site".

There are no guarantees with any engine. If it tests out on the water, pull the trigger and buy it.

I could be wrong, but I think that might be a clone of a Suzuki 4-stroke, for whatever that's worth.

Yup, almost positive 2003 Johnson 4 strokes are really Zukes.

A generally reliable motor.

Anybody have any experience with the aquasport 201 osprey? I want to use it in bays as well as in the ocean if its not rough.

Aquasports are a decent boat. Their like a sister company of wellcraft. Suzuki makes the 4 stroke johnsons. I have zukes on my boat and are veryy happy with them.
